Experience

Work Experience:

Walmart OGP Associate:

Picking orders for those customers who order online. Ensuring everything is correct and replacing items that are not found. Effective communication with customers and other associates to ensure everything runs smoothly.

This job taught me that, there is always a way to resolve things professionally. Skills such as patience, time management, and respect were all things I learned along the way.

Amazon Warehouse Sortation Associate:

Moving and organizing merchandise for customers before delivering them to their intended destinations. The importance of doing things precisely and correctly to ensure all customers receive their items promptly.

This job has taught me the importance of being a hard worker. Currently, I am problem solve and GTDR trained. Waking up early has taught me time management. Working during PEAK times has also shown me the importance of patience.

Volunteer Experience

Spring 23' Brookside Service-Learning

During my spring semester in 2023 I was able to volunteer at Brookside, an elementary school here in Indianapolis. I came in once a week to an assigned room to help a teacher out and observe the school environment. I learned here the importance of education especially for our younger generation.  I also saw first-hand the hardships that not only the students faced but the teachers as well.

Keep Indianapolis Beautiful

This summer of 2024 I was able to volunteer to help clean the streets of Indianapolis. It taught me the importance of recycling and not littering. This not only helps us but most importantly it helps our environment to ensure we can keep living on Earth for a long time.
