Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Monica Figueroa, and I am currently a Senior at IU Indianapolis, majoring in Health Services Management. I am passionate about continuous learning and personal growth, always striving to enhance my skills and knowledge.

As I look towards the future, I aspire to work in a healthcare setting where I can leverage my expertise to make a meaningful impact. Through continuous learning and professional development, I aim to be a proactive and dedicated professional, ready to tackle challenges and seize opportunities in the dynamic field of healthcare.

Why Health Services Management?

When I started my first year of college, I was uncertain about my career path. As a first-year student, I initially majored in Early Childhood Education, where I discovered my passion for helping others, though not in that particular setting. I then transitioned to Medical Imaging, which helped me realize that while the clinical environment wasn't the right fit for me, I was still drawn to the healthcare field.

Now, as a Health Services Management major, I am excited and enthusiastic about my future. This field allows me to combine my desire to help others with my interest in the operational and administrative aspects of healthcare. My journey has taught me the importance of finding the right fit, and I am confident that Health Services Management is where I can make a meaningful impact.
